The holidays may be over, but the winter has just begun. Winter has a bit of a different meaning in the south. The temperature is a bit milder, and the weather is not as traumatic. It doesn’t always snow, but a group in Hilton Head is working to make sure those of you who have never seen the powder on the ground get the chance. If you live in an apartment near Bluffton, SC take a ride to Hilton Head for a little fun in the snow!
The Island Recreation Association will host the 2015 Hilton Head Snow Day on January 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Shelter Cove Community Park.
This family event will have inflatable rides, snowfield, pony rides, bounce houses and entertainment. Organizers said that for those of you who have never seen snow, this is the perfect event!
Admission is $10 per person from ages 2 to 17. All food and beverages are sold separately. Proceeds benefit the Island Rec. Center’s Children’s Scholarship Fund.
