Hello Auston Chase! This time each year millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives. Some people focus on fitness, others focus on health, and some may even focus on their jobs and education. While, many of us are making New Year’s Resolutions plenty of us are breaking them, too. Here are some tips to help you keep your New Year’s Resolution.
1. Write Down Your Goal/Goals - Have you ever forgotten what you gave up or looked up months later and realized you only went to the fitness center one time? Write your goal down as a reminder of what you want to accomplish this year. Hang it somewhere that is visible in your apartment so everyday you see it as a reminder.
2. Make A Plan – If your goal is to go back to school then set a date for when you would like to start taking classes. Make a list of all the things you need to accomplish to reach that goal by that date. The University of South Carolina is near Auston Chase Apartments, visit their campus for more information on their programs.
3. Set Mini Goals – If your ultimate goal is to attend graduate school, get a bachelors degree, or even attend a vocational school this is a goal that has many layers. A mini goal for this bigger goal would be to pass the entrance exams such as the SAT, GMAT, etc. Accomplishing that is something to celebrate. As you check off your mini goals you can feel proud as you get closer to achieving your ultimate goal.
