It’s getting close to the time for a new American Idol season. Tryouts should be coming to a city near you soon. But there’s one huge thing missing for the new season, Simon Cowell.
The man that always spoke his mind is not coming back to the show. He is working on a new show named “The X Factor”. And rumor has it that he may even look to include Paula Abdul.
So that leaves the void of needing a new judge on the popular American Idol. There are several people vying for the opportunity. Bret Michaels, the former lead singer of Poison, is the favorite when it comes to public opinion. Considering his rekindled success through VH1’s Rock of Love and his recent health problems, he is definitely the sentimental favorite. Also being considered are singers Harry Connick, Jr. and Chris Isaak. Connick, Jr. is an actor also, who has appeared in movies such as Hope Floats and Independence Day. Chirs Isaak is best known for his 1991 hit “Wicked Game”.
No matter who takes Cowell’s place, they will certainly have big shoes to fill.
