Hello Auston Chase! If becoming green in 2011 is your New Year’s Resolution than there are certain actions you can take in your apartment to help reach your goal. Start with something simple such as water conservation. I found some excellent tips on Really Simple to help you begin your green journey. Read the tips below.
Don’t Waste Water – When you are brushing your teeth or even washing the dishes turn the water off. Many of us have a bad habit of letting the water run when it is not being used. Make a conscious effort to shut it off.
Use Recycled Paper Products – Recycled paper products are made from less water not to mention fewer trees so now you are helping out in two areas for the price of one.
Bring water from home – Instead of purchasing bottle water while you are on the go carry your water in an eco-friendly reusable bottle.
